Mode of transportation during the trek

Our Annapurna Circuit Trek 23 days begins at Besisahar and ends at Nayapul. You will drive in a private vehicle from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The drive will be around 6 to 7 hours long. Likewise, from Nayapul, you will drive to Pokhara, which takes around an hour. From Pokhara, another long drive in a tourist bus will take you back to Kathmandu.
Apart from that, during the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, you will use a private vehicle. The Annapurna Circuit Trek package also includes pickup and drop service from/to the international airport, as per our Annapurna Circuit Trek itinerary.

Electricity and Charging Facilities

Annapurna Circuit Trek route ascends through remote villages, where people depend both on solar and hydropower. There are charging booths in every lodge or teahouse you will spend the night in, however, you may have to pay a few extra bucks to charge your electronic devices. Always carry spare batteries or a solar charger with you.

Sim Card and WiFi

If you want, we will help you to get a Nepali SIM card with data. The internet connection along the trekking route is not reliable, especially at the higher elevation. Similarly, you will find WiFi service in the lodges along the route, but you may have to pay a few bucks to use it. Don't get your hopes high because the WiFi network will not be fast and stable all the time either.

Luggage

During the Annapurna Circuit Trekking, trekkers carry all the heavy clothing and essentials in the duffel bag. Each trekker has a weight limit of 10 kgs. The duffel bags are carried by the porters. We give one porter to two trekkers.
You will be carrying a day pack during the trek. Pack important and valuable things in your day pack like a camera, charger, money, documents, snacks, etc. If you are left with an extra suitcase or clothing, then you can store it in the hotel's locker room for free of charge while you are on trek.

Child policy

Annapurna Circuit Trek is not for a child because it crosses challenging Thorong La Pass. Likewise, there are many steep, rugged sections, and high altitude is also a thing to be careful of during the trek.
To be honest, it really depends upon the child's stamina and fitness. If he or she is actively involved in hiking and trekking, then we may consider trekking with them too. There are a few conditions (like trekking with a verified guardian) a kid has to accept to trek with us.
For more information regarding Annapurna Circuit Trek for kids, get in touch with us anytime.

Tipping to crew members

Trekkers usually tip as a token of appreciation to the trek and tour guide at the end of the trip. Tips are not included in our Annapurna Circuit Trek cost. You are free to choose to tip or not, but it's the best way to say thank you to the crew's hard work.
If you are confused, then follow this guide. Tip USD 5 to the drive, USD 10 to the tour guide, and USD 200 to the trek guide (shared with porters) by each member of the group.

Personal expenses

Personal expenses like shopping, extra snacks and beverages, services like a spa or hot shower, WiFi, charging, and others are not included in our Annapurna Circuit Trek package cost. Similarly, travel insurance, international flights, tips are also not included in the package cost. You can check our cost includes and excludes section on site for more information.
Also, if you stay extra nights in Kathmandu, Pokhara, or any other place out of our offered Annapurna Circuit Trek itinerary, then all the additional charges must be covered by the travelers themselves. Adventure White Mountain will not be responsible for it.

Insurance, Rescue, Evacuation

Annapurna Circuit Trek 23 days is a remote, challenging venture at a high elevation. So, it's wise to get well-covered travel insurance that involves air evacuation up to 6,000 meters and medical bills. Because you will be traveling at a high altitude far away from a city or a town, the only option for us to give you emergency medical assistance during accidents is through travel insurance.
