                      Electricity and Charging Facilities

Well, during this trek you need not be worried about your mobile or camera batteries. You will easily get electricity and charging facilities in accommodation. Though you need to carry some extra battery if you have for the backup in case the electricity goes off for some reason.

As you arrive at the airport you can buy Nepali 4G sim cards and Data Packages to stay connected with your loved ones. The data connection in city areas is good but as you will take off for the trek at a higher altitude you may face a problem in the network. Likewise, in city Hotels, you may get free WiFi but you may need to pay extra bucks for WiFi during the trek at Tea houses/hotels.

                      Luggage

The main luggage during the trek will be duffel bags which will be carried by porters. Every two members of the group will have one porter. The porter carries 10 to 11 kgs of load for each person. You will carry your bag packs in which your camera, batteries, charger, snacks, and other miscellaneous stuff will be carried. Though is it up to you if you want to give tips to crew members we do suggest tipping if you like the services during the trek. Every member of the group can tip USD 5 each to the tour guide, USD 2 to the driver, and USD 100 each to the trek guide (divided between guide and porter).

                      Insurance/Rescue/Evacuation

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek isn't that much high altitude remote area but people with less physical activity may find it a bit difficult to acclimatize. There is no big hospital during the trial so, you need to aware of that. In case of emergency, the best possible way to get yourself medicated is by air evacuation (Helicopter Charter) which may cost a huge amount of money if you haven’t done your insurance. So, we highly suggest you get travel insurance first which embraces air evacuation, medical bills, flight cancellation, and lost/theft personal properties.
