About Bardia National Park Jungle Safari

Nepal is a country known for its beautiful mountains, yet, the western lands of this elongated country that stretches east-west, provide a wholly different experience. Any visit to Nepal is incomplete without witnessing the beauty of the forests and rich wildlife found in many national parks of Nepal. And Bardiya is one of the best places in Nepal for the wildlife experience. Bardiya National Park was established in 1976 as a hunting reserve and in 1988, changed its status as a National Park. It provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. While Africa has its fame, a wildlife experience in Nepal will certainly stand out in many respects.

Less explored than other national parks and less explored by foreigners, Bardiya in western Nepal is relatively humid in the summer with peak temperatures reaching a little above 40°C. Compared to Kathmandu, in Bardiya the monsoon is intense, with pounding rain and diverse vegetation. The best time to visit here are the autumn months with gorgeous mountain views and lush vegetation providing you a complete forest experience.
