Located at an elevation of 2563 meters, this hiking offers jaw-dropping views of Kathmandu valley and its surrounding along with sparkling views of Langtang Himalayas. The origin of the Bagmati River and Bagdwar also can be seen from the hill of Shivapuri. The hike to Shivapuri begins from the northern side of Kathmandu valley via Nagi Gumba. You have to show the permit before entering the Shivapuri National Park. During the course of Hiking inside Shivapuri exploring numerous species of flora and fauna can be experienced. More than 500 species of animals are preserved inside this National park.
