Mardi Himal Trek is not far from Pokhara and is a recently opened trekking route that exposes hidden treasures of the Annapurna region.  Situated just east of the Annapurna Base Camp, this peak has an elevation of 4250 meters. The first ascent of this peak was made in 1961. This short and spectacular trek offers jaw-dropping views, breathtaking glacial valleys, and the hidden landscape of Annapurna. This peak is a less touristic area and probably the least visited trekking peak of Nepal. The southern part of Mardi Himal is covered with bamboo and rhododendron forests along with beautiful valleys and ridges. From the top of this peak, you can witness dazzling views of Mountain vistas like Fishtail, Annapurna, and HiunchuliHimal.

This adventurous trek begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara then we will head towards Phedi. From Phedi, our trail continues to Mardi Himal then we will submit the peak and return back. During the trial, we will experience the beautiful forests of Rhododendron. Likewise, mind-blowing views of Himalayan vistas will be with us throughout the whole period of trekking. Upon reaching the high camp we will set a camp for ourselves and take some rest. From High Camp, we will move ahead to the base camp of Mardi Himal from where we can see the entire Annapurna Ranges. For those who want to experience a short trek decorated full of nature then the Mardi Himal Trek is an ideal choice. Though this trek is short one should have sound physical and mental fitness in order to complete this trek

The  Mardi Himal trek can be visited during any time of the year, however, the most preferred season is in spring when rhododendron forests are in full bloom, and in fall when the skies get clearer each day revealing the majestic mountains on the horizon. Much trekking experience is not required but the trek demands a bit of physical fitness and energy.
