Everest region trek is the dream trekking destination for any trekkers around the globe. Before summiting Everest, a camp is set at the foot of the mountain, which is a Base camp. Everest Base Camp Trek falls under the top trekking spot from where magisterial views of Himalayan peaks can be observed. Base Camp of Everest has two sides: Northern Base Camp of Tibet and Southern Base camp of Nepal. Northern Base Camp from Tibet is situated at the elevation of 5150 meters whereas Southern Base Camp from Nepal is situated at the elevation of 5364 meters. There are 334 base camps in Nepal but Everest Base camp top the most visited and well-admired base camp among all of them.

To climb up to the base camp of Everest requires a top level of fitness sound health and mental condition. Everest base camp trek is rated as the most altitude sickness trekking spot in Nepal. 5 to 7 Days Everest View Trek (Everest panorama trek)

Everest Panorama trek is ideal for those who do not have enough time to explore the Everest Region of Nepal. Within the span of 5-7 days, trekkers can easily enjoy a glimpse of Everest and other panoramic peaks. Everest panorama trek offers you the best views of the tallest peak of the world and other Himalayan vistas. Trekkers who do not have sound physical health but have the hunger to glimpse the views of Everest are strongly suggested to enjoy this trek. Numerous species of flora and fauna can be explored in Sagarmatha National park. Truly this short trek has everything to offer for trekkers who visit Nepal to experience the Himalayan peaks. 10 Days Gokyo Lake Trek

Gokyo lake trek in the Everest region is one of the stunning natural wonders of Asia. With five divine lakes and stunning valleys, Gokyo lake is the topmost wandering trekking spot in Nepal. There are 5 famous holy lakes in Gokyo among them 3 the lakes can be experienced while trekking to Gokyo Ri at the elevation of 5757 m, from where glittering scenic views can be seen. Trek to Gokyo lake trek offers spectacular views of famous panoramic peaks such as Mt. Everest 8848 m, Lhotse, Mt. Makalu 8482 m, and Mt. Cho-Oyu 8200, and more importantly, all of them are above 8000 m. Though this trek is not up to EBC the views of Everest from Gokyoriis are magnificent. 12 days Everest base camp trek in the classic route to Everest Base camp is one of the best opportunities for those who want to explore the Everest region of the Himalayan ranges. It is a dream for any trekker to stand tall at the foot of the world’s tallest peaks and explore the ice falls and glaciers. To complete this 12 days trek to EBC, trekkers must be fit and fine physically and mentally. Trekkers should have climbing experience of 400meteres to 600 meters a day. The trail is filled full of scenic beauty and the best views of famous panoramic peaks. This 12 days Everest base camp trek itinerary would be fit for any trekkers who are eager to experience the Khumbu region of Everest.

14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek

12 days itinerary trek are most among the trekkers to trek to EBC but 14 Days Everest Base Camp trek is perfect for those who want to hike or trek but does not have any previous climbing experience. The intention behind trekking to EBC in 14 days is to avoid altitude sickness. More days can give chance to acclimatize to higher altitudes which helps to prevent altitude sickness as soon as possible. A minimum of 600 m have to be hiked in a day but to trek, to EBC it may require to change 1500 meters just a day. So some trekkers may not have the capacity to adopt the change in altitude. As trekkers climb higher, they gain more altitude and there is a probability of getting altitude sickness. Focusing and concerned about the trekkers' health this 14 days trek itinerary is arranged which is highly recommended for trekkers all around the world.

16-18 Days Gokyo Everest base camp trek

This optional route to EBC via the Gokyo Chola pass trek makes the EBC trek even more adventurous. Trekking in off-beaten trails via Gokyo and Chola pass can be one of the unforgettable moment for any trekker. Gokyo is one of the most scenic trails of Nepal but to reach EBC and explore the Himalayan vistas including Everest is the main goal for any trekkers. This option via Chola pass and Gokyo valley is the best way to experience the adventure as you can experience the number of freshwater lake systems in Gokyo along with stunning valleys. It takes about 16-18 days of an itinerary to reach EBC via the trail of Chola pass and Gokyo valley. Chola pass is the shortest high pass that links Gokyo valley and Everest Valley. Having an elevation of 5400 m Chola pass is composed of mainly ice and snow. From this pass jaw-dropping views of two gigantic peaks, Mt. Everest and Mt. AmaDablam can be witnessed. Kala Patthar is another best viewpoint of Mountain peaks. From this point, 360-degree views of Mt. Pumori, Mt. AmaDablam, M. Nuptse, Mt. Everest, and many more ranges can be seen. So here is the special itinerary arranged for this 16-18 day EBC trek via Gokyo.

This 17 days itinerary is best and enough for experienced trekkers, but adding 1 more day and having more rest days may help you from preventing altitude sickness. So 18 days trekking itinerary is recommended.

20 Days Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek

Another even more adventurous option in here. In most of the itineraries first step of the trek begins with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu but in this itinerary trail goes through Jiri. Through the same route if Jiri legendry climbers Hillary and Tenzing had ascended Mt. Everest. The trail is ornamented by natural beauty and offers the best views of peaks along with an experience of the unique culture of the Everest region. The starting point of the Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek trek is Shivalaya which you have to reach by local bus. It takes about 8 days to reach speaking while in other itineraries within a span of 2 days trekkers could reach Phakding. This trek via Jiri is very challenging and physically demanding so very experienced trekkers can follow this itinerary and can experience the colorful culture and people of Nepal. Trekkers can experience dazzling views of famous peaks like Mt. Everest, Mt. AmaDablam, and many more ranges. The sample outline itinerary of this trek is given below:
