Everest Luxury Trek

Situated in Khumbu Region, the elevation of Everest peak is 8884m and was the first ascent by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary in 1953. Everest Luxury trip begins from Kathmandu via beautiful village Lukla, then after trail follows through Dingboche to Everest Peak. The trip ends at Lukla village that we have to return back to Lukla according to the designed itinerary of Adventure White Mountain. We will be staying in a luxury hotel in Kathmandu and standard lodges during trekking. Rooms are equally well managed in the lodges. Everest luxury trek Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, our officer will pick you up from the airport and take you to the guest house. After reaching the guest house, there will be some orientation and preparation for trekking.

Fly to Lukla

early wake-up and catch a domestic flight towards Lukla. During the flight to Lukla, we will witness majestic views of the great Himalayas and hills. After reaching Lukla we will have a pleasing walk up to Phakding. It will take about 3 hours to reach Phakding. We will stay overnight at Phakding.

Trek to Namche Bazaar

Heading towards Namche Bazaar is one of the beautiful towns of the Himalayan region. Early in the morning start walking through Dudh Koshi River and crossing Hillary's suspension bridge. From that bridge, we will reach Chautara from where we closely peer the view of Everest. From that Chautara. We have to walk around 2 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a small and beautiful town where we can get every kind of facilities like internet, shops, and markets. We stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Having acclimatized session at Namche Bazaar is very necessary to acclimatize our body and altitude whether we can continue our walk at high altitude or not. Today we don’t only rest the whole day but for best acclimatization, we will hike up to Everest view hotel to witness the Khumbu peak and Mt. Everest as well. We stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Trek to Tengboche

From Namche Bazaar we will move ahead towards Tengboche. The trail is decently filled with forests of birch and colorful rhododendrons. We will also be able to witness the amazing view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam during the trek. We will also get a chance to visit Tengboche Monastery during the trek, which is the largest monastery in this region. Overnight stay at Tengboche.

Trek to Dingboche

The trail from Tengboche is somehow similar to Tengboche. We will move ahead through the rhododendron forest enjoying the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. During the trek towards Dingboche, we will witness the sizzling view of the Himalayas and Pangboche Monastery. Imja valley is the main gateway to Dingboche, after crossing this valley we will reach Dingboche to spend overnight.

Trek to Lobuche 

From Dingboche our next destination is Lobuche. Though the trail is a bit steep this trail is also the most important one. During the trek, we will experience the Khumbu Glacier. Similarly, we will witness some mountain ranges like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur. From the Khumbu glacier, the trail is simple and easy to reach Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

Trek to Everest Base Camp

And finally, today is our most important day of trekking. We will achieve our lifetime experience by climbing to the base camp of Everest. Though it may take about 3-4 hours of walk to reach the base camp we will spend some hours there exploring it. After reaching base camp we will witness the majestic view of Everest very closely. Not only the highest peak we will witness Khumbu glacier with icefall as well. And base camp is the main point to begin the Everest expedition as well. For overnight, we will hike to Gorakshep.

Fly Back to Kathmandu through Chartered Helicopter

Today before we fly back to Kathmandu, we will hike up to Kalapathar. Kalapathar is the point from which we can witness a 360-degree view of the highest peak- Mt. Everest. After that, we will return to Gorakshep and start our flight. From helicopter as well we will have stunning views of the Himalayan range including Mt. Everest. Our officer will take you to the guest house after your landing at the Airport.

Departure

Today is the last day of your holiday in Nepal. According to your scheduled flight, our staff will drop you off at the airport for your flight to your home.

Necessary Gears (personal)

  • Headlamp with extra batteries and bulbs
  • Sunglasses

Upper Body: 

  • Polypropylene shirts ( 1 half sleeve and 2 long sleeves)
  • Light and expedition weight thermal tops
  • Fleece wind-stopper jacket or pullover
  • Waterproof shell jacket
  • Down vest or jacket
  • Gore-Tex jacket with hood, waterproof and breathable

Hands:

  • 1 pair of lightweight poly liner gloves
  • 1 pair of lightweight wool gloves
  • 1 pair of mittens: consist of Gore-Tex over the mitt matched, waterproof, polar-fleece liner
  • Lower Body
  • 2 pairs of lightweight inner socks
  • 1 pair of hiking boots with spare laces (sturdy soles, water-resistant, ankle support)
  • 1 pair of trainers or running shoes/sandals
  • Cotton socks
  • Gaiters

Rucksack and Travel Bags

  • 1 medium rucksack or 1 large duffel bag
  • Daypack/backpack of 35 to 50 liters for carrying valuables things, should have good shoulder padding
  • Small padlock for duffel-kit bags
  • 2 large waterproof rucksack covers

Medical kit:

  • Simple and light medical kit
  • First aid tape
  • Anti-Diarrhea pills
  • Headache pills
  • Cold medicine
  • Anti-altitude sickness pills
  • Water Purification Tablet
  • 1 set of earplugs
  • Stomach antibiotic: Ciprofloxacin, etc.
